InSocialize: A Social Enterprise

What Is A Social Enterprise?

To InSocialize, a social enterprise is a business that incorporates doing good into the foundation of its business model. In other words, being a “social enterprise” has less to do with social media and a whole lot more to do with having a benefit for society.

Great, I’m in.  How does InSocialize benefit society?  That’s a big statement.

We can’t agree more.  It is a big statement, and it carries with it a big responsibility – one we are eager to shoulder.  InSocialize sees “society” in two important ways.  One is our home community, the one in which we live.  It might have a different name if you’re in Los Angeles or Detroit, but we are all about supporting local good works.  But that’s not enough.  Why?  Because all of humanity is in this together.

Barack Obama summed it up back in 2004…

“If there’s a child on the south side of Chicago who can’t read, that matters to me, even if it’s not my child. If there’s a senior citizen somewhere who can’t pay for her prescription and has to choose between medicine and the rent, that makes my life poorer, even if it’s not my grandmother. If there’s an Arab American family being rounded up without benefit of an attorney or due process, that threatens my civil liberties. It’s that fundamental belief — I am my brother’s keeper, I am my sister’s keeper — that makes this country work.”

InSocialize takes it a step further.  If there’s a child in Ethiopia that drinks dirty water – that threatens our health.  And we put our money where our mouth is, donating 10% of your paid services to charity: water.  We’ll even tell you how many people now drink clean water because of your purchase.

Nice, I value a company that looks out for our common wellbeing as much as improving my bottom line.  But how do you help social entrepreneurs, who are building a better community?

InSocialize supports social entrepreneurs through its social media marketing work.  In essence, InSocialize was founded to enable social entrepreneurs to more effectively communicate their messages online to their desired audiences.  InSocialize is the first social media marketing company that wants to do business specifically with social enterprises.  InSocialize believes that every social entrepreneur is contributing to the development of an impact economy, where goods traded and services sold serve not just a simple purpose of profit, but rather a larger purpose of leaving a meaningful social impact that improves the quality of life for people in the community, whether you measure that community locally or globally.  InSocialize is a social enterprise, because it assists the social entrepreneurs movement in communicating effectively both within itself and to the larger audience of society.

So you give away 20% of what you earn.  How do you, quite frankly, stay competitive?

You’re asking a lot of questions.  But it’s my favorite topic, so I’m game.  Simply put, the more you give, the more you receive.  InSocialize is a portrait of the Law of Abundance in action.  By giving away, we are forced to replenish, to constantly come up with the most innovative ideas, to stay above the trends, in order to earn your business.  It is our pleasure to do business with you, and frankly giving 20% away with every client helps us feel good with our work, which translates into good vibes for your social media account.
